Next spring, I will be riding 100 miles in the Buffalo Tour de Cure. This will be the third year I've ridden in Tour de Cure, and the second year for 100 miles. (in '06, I did a metric century - 65 miles).
Tour de Cure is an annual series of bike rides to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. It's a great cause, and I'm proud to support it. Cycling 100 miles seemed like an impossible goal. When I signed up last year, I really wondered if I'd be able to do it. But with hours and hours of training, and the unflappable support of my lovely wife, I managed to finish. And not just finish -- I enjoyed it! So I'm back again for more this year!
